Sunday Soup Kitchen
'Lord, when did we see you
hungry or thirsty,
and give you something to drink or feed you?
When did we see you a stranger
and invite you in, or needing clothes and
clothe you? When did we see you sick or in
prison and go to visit you?'
'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for
one of the least of these brothers of mine,
you did for me.'
Matthew 25:37-40
New International Version
Every Sunday St. John's Episcopal Church (between Meshel & the public library) serves the poor, homeless and disadvantaged of our community with a hot meal.
A campus ministry student group helps prepare and serve food at the Soup Kitchen once during the fall semester and once during the spring semester. Contact the PCM office to get the dates if you'd like to help feed the poor and homeless in our area.
Around ten volunteers are needed to help on these Sunday mornings from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. If you're interested, please call the Protestant Campus Ministry office at 330-743-0439, or email: Kathrynpcm@aol.com
